At the time of his demise, the cause of his passing was not yet revealed to the public. As per recent reports, however, the actor’s official cause of passing has been listed as death by suicide.
James Ransone’s cause of demise revealed
According to reports shared by People, the actor passed away on December 19 last year by suicide. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner ruled his demise an apparent suicide, as per the death certificate shared in the report. Days after his passing, Ransone’s wife, Jamie, had taken to her social media account to pay tribute to her long-time partner. Her post had read, “I told you I have loved you 1000 times before and I know I will love you again. You told me – I need to be more like you and you need to be more like me – and you were so right.” She further talked about their children, Jack and Violet, and called them the “greatest gifts” he had given her.

Some of his best-known works include ‘The Wire’, ‘It: Chapter Two’, ‘The Black Phone’, ‘Sinister’, ‘Broken City’, ‘The Clapper’, and ‘The Next Three Days.’ His last project before his untimely passing was ‘Black Phone 2’, where had a minor cameo in the film.
