A recent picture of Jr NTR has sparked widespread chatter on social media, with fans and critics alike dissecting everything from his noticeably slimmer appearance. While some online users speculated about the actor’s apparent weight loss and suggested the use of Ozempic, ardent supporters quickly stepped in to dismiss the rumours. His team has now put and end to these rumours.
The image, which shows Jr NTR dressed in a crisp blue floral shirt and black trousers, surfaced on one of the X (formerly Twitter) handles, where he is seen posing with hotel staff. The picture has ignited curiosity among fans, many of whom were surprised by his leaner frame. However, sources close to the actor have revealed that the reason behind his transformation has nothing to do with any weight-loss medication.
According to Hindustan Times, “NTR is healthy and not on Ozempic, if that is what is being asked.” The insider further added, “He is fine and has been following a new diet. He has been working on his next film with (filmmaker) Prashanth Neel, and for his look in it, he has adopted a new fitness regime since February. The transformation is a result of that.”
Conversations around his weight have continued online. Some users voiced concern, with one Reddit comment reading, “What happened to Jr NTR – any health issues?” Meanwhile, another post on X stated, “Inta sannaga ayite em baledu anna (It’s not looking good when you’re this thin, brother). On the work front, Jr NTR is currently preparing for his next major film with director Prashanth Neel, tentatively titled NTR 31. The pan-India project is slated for a grand release on 9 January 2026. He is also busy shooting for War 2 with Hrithik Roshan.
