Is Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Krrish 4' delayed due to a whopping Rs 700 crore budget challenge? New reports claim otherwise

Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 4, directed by Rakesh Roshan, has been eagerly awaited but faced multiple delays. Recent reports hinted at a Rs 700 crore budget issue causing another setback. However, a new update suggests these claims may not be entirely true.
A report from Bollywood Hungama mentioned that Krrish 4 requires an estimated budget of around Rs 700 crores, making it difficult for any studio to invest such a huge amount. Hrithik Roshan had initially assigned his friend Siddharth Anand, who was also involved as a producer, to find a suitable studio for the project.

Studios are reportedly hesitant about Krrish 4 due to concerns over its relevance in the post-Marvel era, especially since the last installment was released over a decade ago. As a result, Siddharth Anand and Marflix are no longer involved. Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan are now personally negotiating with studios across India to secure a strong deal for the film under FilmKraft.

Karan Malhotra, initially brought in by Siddharth Anand, is also exiting the project. A new creative team will be formed to reevaluate the budget before moving forward. Reports suggest that Krrish 4’s chances could improve after War 2 releases and delivers strong box-office results for Hrithik Roshan.

A Movie Talkies report dismissed claims that Krrish 4 requires a Rs 700 crore budget. However, sources confirmed that Siddharth Anand and Karan Malhotra are no longer involved in the project.
Rakesh Roshan recently confirmed that he has retired from directing and won’t helm any more films. However, he assured fans that Krrish 4 is still in development and will be officially announced soon.
