Bollywood actor Gulshan Devaiah, who has worked with director Anurag Kashyap in That Girl in Yellow Boots and the action series Bad Cop, recently had an AMA session on Reddit. During the session, he shared his thoughts on working with Anurag and his transition into acting.

During the Reddit AMA, when a user asked Gulshan about working with Anurag Kashyap in That Girl in Yellow Boots, he humorously replied, saying Anurag is “full of himself,” but added that he’s “cute” and trusts his actors. Kashyap, known for his directing, has recently taken on acting roles as well. He impressed audiences with his villainous portrayal in the Tamil film Maharaja, starring Vijay Sethupathi. He also appeared in the series Bad Cop alongside Gulshan, Harleen Sethi, and Saurabh Sachdeva. Anurag had a significant role in Vijay Sethupathi‘s Viduthalai Part 2, released in 2024. His latest acting project is the Malayalam action-comedy Rifle Club, where he stars alongside Hanumankind, Dileesh Pothan, and Vineeth Kumar.
Anurag Kashyap will soon be seen in the Telugu film Dacoit: A Love Story, alongside Mrunal Thakur and Adivi Sesh. The release date for the film has not been announced yet.
Anurag Kashyap’s Break from Filmmaking
In a previous interview with Hollywood Reporter India, Anurag Kashyap explained why he took up acting, stating that he planned to take a break from filmmaking the following year. He mentioned that he needed time to relax, rejuvenate, and focus on personal matters, including his daughter’s wedding. Now that the wedding is done, he feels calmer and is ready to focus on nourishing his soul.
