The 2026 Grammys are officially here, and fans cannot seem to get enough of the award season excitement! This time around, actress Rita Wilson turned the red carpet into her own fashion statement. Not only that, but she even stole the show with an unexpected family reunion this year.

Beyond the fashion statement, Rita Wilson and Olivia Hanks also turned the red carpet at the 2026 Grammy Awards into a family reunion. While Wilson was not accompanied by her husband and famed actor Tom Hanks, she brought her granddaughter to the awards and stole the show. The ‘Sleepless in Seattle’ actress wore a short-sleeved gown with silver sequin details all over. She chose to keep her hair down with messy waves, while she accessorized the gown with silver fingerless gloves as well as a matching handbag. Her granddaughter, on the other hand, kept her hair down while she wore a shoulderless dark navy blue floor-length bodycon gown to the red carpet. She added a silver diamond bracelet, along with a matching silver clutch and nude heels to complete the look. The Grammys night also falls on Olivia’s 15th birthday as well, making the appearance even more special and heartfelt. Olivia is Colin Hanks and Samantha Bryant’s eldest daughter. Ahead of the Grammys, Wilson had also appeared on the red carpet of the 2026 MusiCares Person of the Year with her son, Chet Hanks.

Over the years, the actress has openly talked about her grandchildren on multiple occasions. In an old interview with Entertainment Tonight, Wilson had cited that there are a lot of ways that one can spend some quality time with their grandchildren. She listed out her efforts, citing that one would have to get on the trampoline with them, or be in the pool, or play tennis with them in their spare time, to build a stronger connection.
