In a heartfelt revelation, Kelly Osbourne opened up about the profound sorrow she’s experiencing after the loss of her father, iconic rock star Ozzy Osbourne. She described this moment as incredibly challenging, stating, ‘It’s the toughest trial I’ve ever faced.’ As preparations for a Grammy tribute unfold, she highlighted the event as a poignant honor from his fellow musicians.

Kelly Osbourne, musician and daughter of the legendary Ozzy Osbourne, recently attended the Grammy Awards event with Sid Wilson. During a brief interview, Osburne reflected on her father’s demise and how it has affected her for the past few months.

While talking to People at the Grammys 2026 red carpet, Kelly reminisced about her father and how his demise has affected everyone around him. She cited that she is okay; however, she added that things have been hard for her.She stated, “I won’t lie. I won’t be one of those people that say I’m fine because I’m not. That’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life.” Kelly also added how touched and excited she was about the tribute that the Grammys will pay to her father. She shared that, “You know, it’s just such a beautiful thing that his peers are showing their love and respect for his work tonight, and it’s going to be an emotional experience for us.” She further called her father “one of the greatest men to ever live [on] the planet,” and cited that watching the tribute is going to be an emotional experience for her.While talking about dealing with everything, the star also shared that she and her family have bonded deeply during this hard time. She mentioned her fiancé Wilson, her baby, her mother, as well as her brother have all bonded very deeply after Ozzy’s passing.

As per the Grammys website, the tribute performance is set to feature a great ensemble of singers. It will include Post Malone, Guns N’ Roses’ Slash and Duff McKagan, The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ drummer Chad Smith, and Osbourne’s producer Andrew Watt.Ozzy Osbourne passed away 7 months ago on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76. The musician had been diagnosed with coronary heart disease for quite some time and passed away after suffering from a cardiac arrest event.
