SS Rajamouli has announced a mega event for his upcoming ambitious project starring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. As of now, the movie is being referred to as ‘Globetrotter’. The makers will be unveiling the title teaser of the film at the launch. And now, the host of the event has been confirmed. Ashish Chanchlani to host ‘Globetrotter’ event
The makers of ‘Globetrotter’ have announced that popular YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani will be hosting the massive event in Hyderabad. On the X platform, they dropped a quirky video with a caption that read, “So here we go, @ashchanchlani will host @thetrilight presents the #GlobeTrotterEvent. November 15th—gear up for an exhilarating day of something spectacular.”The promo showcased Ashish barging into a room while claiming that someone has kidnapped him and stolen his passport. With that, he also referred to Rajamouli’s project announcement post in which he quipped that he “confiscated” Mahesh Babu’s passport.The clip then showed Chanchlani seeing S S Rajamouli calmly sitting and waiting. When he asked for an explanation, the filmmaker said, “Hamare yaha aisa hi hota hai (this is how it happens around here).”The video ended with the director saying, “See you at the event.”Take a look.

The event will be held at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Reportedly, over 50000 fans are expected to attend the same. For the same, the filmmaker even dropped a video where he talked about the safety guidelines and protocols one should follow. Reportedly, the teaser will be screened on a massive 130 ft x 100 ft screen. It will also be live streamed on an OTT platform on November 15, from 7 pm.

While the makers are yet to release the character poster of Mahesh Babu, they dropped first looks of Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s avatars. While the actress will be seen as Mandakini, Prithviraj is playing the character named Kumbh.The film will also mark the comeback of Priyanka Chopra to the Indian cinemas. The release date has not been announced as of now.
