Remember the firecracker of Koffee With Karan episode where Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday graced the show together? While the young divas made several revelations on the show, the one which caught our attention was certainly the one where Ananya shared how Sara had threatened to beat her up for a boy!When the Kedarnath actress stated she holds no “unrealistic expectations” from anyone, Ananya offered a contrasting reality. She claimed that Sara had “threatened” her on multiple occasions, warning her not to look at a particular person. When met with a confused look from Sara, she reiterated the accusation.In response, Sara clarified that while Ananya is indeed a good friend, she personally doesn’t harbor unrealistic expectations from anyone. She explained that such expectations, like refraining from looking at a boy a friend likes or avoiding a film a friend is interested in, simply don’t align with her perspective.Ananya also recounted another thrilling adventure she shared with Sara on the same show. She described how Sara took her to Mumbai’s Chowpatty late one night. They encountered a policeman who initially prevented them from going to the beach because it was 3 AM. However, the Atrangi Re actress then pointed out, saying “look, Ananya Panday is sitting in the car.” The police officer subsequently allowed them to proceed, and the girls reportedly had a great time.On the work front, Sara is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie, Metro… In Dino. The film, directed by Anurag Basu, also features a stellar ensemble cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Neena Gupta, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles, and is set to release on July 4, 2025.Ananya, on the other hand, has several upcoming projects.
