After a break from social media, she surprised fans by sharing tender moments from her Nikaah, including snippets of her marriage certificate and a sweet shot alongside her husband, whose identity remains a mystery.

Former Bollywood actress Zaira Wasim, best known for her breakout role as young Geeta Phogat in Aamir Khan’s Dangal, has announced her marriage in a heartfelt Instagram post.The actress who had left show business and social media returned to Instagram on Friday, to drop pictures of herself signing the nikaah papers and also shared a photo with her husband. However, she refrained from showing fans her hubby’s face, chosing instead to tease viewers with a photo of their backs as they looked at the moon. She captioned the post, “Qubool hai x3.”Zaira didn’t reveal her husband’s name either. In the picture, she can be seen wearing bright red wedding attire with golden embroidery. Her husband wore an off-white outfit for their big day.Soon, fans took over the comment section to pour in love for the former actress.

Zaira Wasim took to her social media account to share that she was leaving the film industry in 2019. In the caption of the post, the young actress expressed that she wants to focus on religion. It read, “I want to confess that I am not truly happy with this identity, that is, my line of work. For a very long time now it has felt like I have struggled to become someone else.”The post further read, “While I acknowledge with humility all the love people shower me with, I cannot emphasise enough how the praise that comes my way isn’t gratifying at all for me and how big of a test it is for me and how dangerous it is for my Iman.”
