Court orders ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’ makers to pay Rs 7 crore in 48 hours | Tamil Movie News

The Delhi High Court has imposed an interim stay on the release of Chiyaan Vikram‘s ‘Veera Dheera Sooran‘, starring Vikram. ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’, which was supposed to be released this morning, has faced a struggle, and morning and noon shows for the film were canceled for the film across locations. This legal issue arose following a petition filed by B4U, which had financed the film and claimed rights over its OTT release.
A high-octane thriller with a unique release plan
Directed by ‘Chithha’ filmmaker SU Arun Kumar, ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’ features Vikram in the lead role alongside SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Dushara Vijayan. The action-packed thriller unfolds over a single night and has been planned as a two-part film, with the second part hitting screens first. The film had generated significant anticipation, and its sudden delay earlier today left fans disappointed.
Legal dispute resolved, theatrical release on track
As per News 18 Tamil, B4U argued that the film’s producer had assigned them the OTT rights in return for financial backing, but the film was being released without finalizing the OTT deal. This led to a temporary stay on the release, affecting overseas screenings and Tamil Nadu’s early morning shows. However, after negotiations, both parties reached an understanding, and the court ordered the makers to pay Rs 7 crores within 48 hours to B4U. Meanwhile, Chiyaan Vikram, SJ Suryah, and director SU Arun Kumar have reportedly come forward to pave the way for the film’s theatrical release by funding the producer.
Confusion continues as fans await for official update
With the legal hurdles now cleared, ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’ is likely to hit theaters from noon onwards. Fans of Vikram are eagerly awaiting the film to watch it on the big screen. Given Vikram’s past success with intense action dramas, expectations are high for this film to make a strong impact at the box office. However, let’s hope the much-anticipated film reaches audiences without further delays.
