Arjun Kapoor, promoting Mere Husband Ki Biwi with Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh, was left speechless when a fan shouted Malaika’s name at an event. Arjun and Malaika Arora, who dated for years, ended their relationship last year.

A video on Instagram shows Arjun Kapoor on stage at a fan event with Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh. As Bhumi was about to answer a question about the film, someone suddenly shouted ‘Malaika’ loudly.
Everyone, including Arjun, noticed the shout. He looked at the crowd, shook his head knowingly, but stayed silent. Rakul and Bhumi also glanced at him but didn’t say anything.
At Raj Thackeray’s Diwali party last year, a similar incident happened when someone kept shouting Malaika Arora’s name. Arjun responded by saying, “No, I’m single now. Relax.”
Malaika and Arjun began dating in 2018. Though they kept their relationship private, they shared romantic vacation photos and birthday wishes. Last month, after Malaika’s father, Anil Mehta, passed away, Arjun visited her.
Malaika was previously married to Arbaaz Khan. Since their divorce in 2017, they have been co-parenting their son, Arhaan.
Mere Husband Ki Biwi, directed by Mudassar Aziz, features Dino Morea, Harsh Gujral, and Shakti Kapoor in supporting roles. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh, the film is set to release in cinemas on February 21, 2025.
