Understanding these planetary rulerships helps in designing homes and workspaces that align with cosmic forces and personal well-being.East – Ruled by the Sun (Surya)The East is associated with vitality, new beginnings, and leadership. The Sun represents energy, authority, and confidence. Spaces facing east or used in the eastern direction—like entrances or prayer rooms—enhance clarity, health, and spiritual strength.West – Ruled by Saturn (Shani)The West is linked to discipline, hard work, and karma. Saturn teaches life lessons and encourages structure. West-facing rooms are ideal for study, patience, or internal work, but excessive heaviness or clutter here can bring delays or stagnation.North – Ruled by Mercury (Budh)Mercury governs communication, intellect, and financial prosperity.
