Rise and Fall: Aarush Bhola breaks silence on his bond with Manisha Rani; says ‘She’s like a sister to me’ |
Reality show contestant and social media influencer Aarush Bhola, who emerged as the first runner-up on Rise And Fall, has finally spoken about the ongoing rumours linking him to wildcard contestant Manisha Rani. Following the show’s grand finale, Aarush decided to clear the air and address the misunderstanding around his comment where he referred to Manisha as his “sister” — a moment that reportedly upset her.Speaking to the media after the finale, Aarush explained that his remark was made in a playful, harmless way and was never meant to hurt anyone. “Manisha sirf ek acchi dost hai. Maine ‘behen’ isiliye bola tha, jaise school mein jab hum koi ladki se baat karte the, toh uske papa bolte the ‘isko behen bol de.’ Mujhe lagta tha, behen bol diya toh sab clear. Isiliye maine show par bola ki woh meri behen hai,” Aarush said lightheartedly. (Manisha is just a good friend. I called her my sister the way we used to do in school when a girl’s father would tell us to call her our sister to avoid misunderstandings. I felt it would make everything clear, so I said it on the show.)The influencer further clarified that there was never any romantic angle between them. He mentioned that the statement was made only to set boundaries and avoid unnecessary speculation within the show’s intense and dramatic setting.Aarush also took a moment to express his heartfelt gratitude towards his co-contestants Bali and Manisha, calling them his biggest supporters throughout the show. “Sabse selflessly jisne mujhe support kiya, woh Bali aur Manisha hai. In dono ke liye dil se respect hai. Agar show ke baad inhe kabhi zarurat hogi, Aarush hamesha khada hai,” he said. (The two people who supported me the most selflessly were Bali and Manisha. I truly respect them both from the bottom of my heart. If they ever need me after the show, I’ll always be there for them.)He also added that he never did or said anything that could harm anyone’s image and that the three of them — Aarush, Manisha, and Bali — should always be remembered together for their bond and friendship.Hosted by Ashneer Grover, Rise And Fall’s first season concluded with TV actor Arjun Bijlani lifting the winner’s trophy and taking home Rs 28 lakh in prize money, defeating Aarush Bhola and Arbaz Patel in the finale. The other top finalists included Akriti Negi, Dhanashree Verma, and Nayandeep Rakshit.
