NEW DELHI: A Haryana cop in Rohtak has allegedly committed suicide, accusing the deceased officer, Y Puran Kumar, of corruption, police said on Tuesday.Senior Haryana IPS officer Y Puran Kumar — who reportedly died by suicide at his Chandigarh residence last Tuesday — had named 16 senior IAS and IPS officers in his note, alleging harassment and holding them directly responsible for his decision to take the extreme step.The disturbing incident just came hours after Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi met Y Puran Kumar’s wife and daughters.(This is a developing story.)
