Singer Chinmayi Sripaada slams netizens for trolling the ‘KBC 17’ for being rude to Amitabh Bachchan: ‘Horrible bunch of bullies’ |

The internet is abuzz with the viral video of a kid on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 17’ who seemed disrespectful towards Amitabh Bachchan. This child called Ishit Bhatt who is in class 5 is a student from Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The young boy’s behaviour was described by the internet, unanimously as ‘rude and disrespectful’ as he went on to tell Bachchan, “Mujhe rules samjhane mat baithna, mujhe sab pataa hai.” He also kept interrupting Bachchan and kept telling him, he doesn’t even need options, he knows the answers. However, Bachchan kept his smile on with patience throughout. As the internet slammed this kid’s behaviour and opined that his parents should have taught him better, singer Chinmayi Sripaada has slammed netizens for bullying the kid. She shared a picture of a user who wrote, “The most hated kid on the internet.” She opined, “An adult putting a tweet saying most hated *kid*. Adults here on Twitter have been one of the most lousy, foul mouthed, abusive lot; none of these voices said a thing when kids died due to a cough syrup. But yeah pick on a kid. Says a LOT about the ecosystem. This entire lot is picking on one over excited kid – what a horrible bunch of bullies these have raised themselves to be.”However, netizens reacted to Sripada. A user said, “Adults being foul mouthed to each other are doing it as equal adults. This kid was behaving that way with Amitabh- an adult- and that’s not fine. Kids can do that with other kids. Kids can’t do that with adults.” Another user said, “With your post i m sure you are pretty ok if your kid also behaves arrogantly with an 80 year old. I feel sad for your thought-process.” A person commented, “This is going to last one news cycle. Nothing to get so triggered and start moral policing. Whatever happened was on live tv. And it is but obvious the reaction will follow. The child and his parents need to take accountability of their lousy behaviour and upbringing. Not everything can be whitewashed due to age.” Some also agreed with Chimmayi and said that that he’s a kid and shouldn’t be judged.
