Kannada actor-comedian Raju Talikote passes away due to cardiac arrest – Report | Kannada Movie News

Veteran actor and comedian Raju Talikote has passed away today. The actor breathed his last at the Manipal Hospital in Udupi. As per the reports, he was going through age-related illness. As per the reports, the actor completed the shooting for his upcoming film at around 6 pm in the evening on Sunday. The report further stated that at around midnight, he suffered a heart attack, after which he was rushed to the hospital. However, he could not survive and took his last breath.Born as Rajesaba Maktumasaab Talikoti, popularly known as Raju Talikote, he hailed from Chikkasindagi village of Sindagi taluk of Vijayapur district. The actor-comedian became a household name due to his drunkard characters in movies. He was the owner of the Khasgateshwar Drama Board of Talikoti in North Karnataka.The film he was shooting for also starred Shine Shetty. As per the reports, the late soul had suffered a cardiac arrest event before; however, he was treated for the same. His son stated that the last rites of the actor will be performed in Vijayapura.
