As the show nears its official production, the cast has been finalized and confirmed. 14 more names have been added to the final cast list, building up anticipation over the adaptation of Edith Wharton’s classic novel.

As per reports shared by The Hollywood Reporter, new members of the cast of the upcoming show have been added, and the final list has been confirmed. The news of the show’s creation first came to light in April this year, with Emma Frost being credited as the official showrunner. The final cast list includes Camila Morrone, Kristine Froseth, Ben Radcliffe, and Margo Martindale. Hayley Mills, Ryan Morgan, Will Tudor, John Light, Steven Pacey, Kel Matsena, Lucia Balordi, Elly Roberts, Jack Cutmore-Scott, Anna Madeley, and Michael Cochrane. The three final cast members to have been added to the list include series regulars Fiona Glascott, Belinda Bromilow and Emma Shipp.

The show’s official log line, as per reports, shares, “The Age of Innocence explores themes of freedom, duty, identity, and love in all its forms. This fresh take is true to Wharton’s novel but will speak to a new generation as we traverse the ballrooms and bedrooms of these young people, asking the question, what is love — and what is lust? And should we ultimately be driven by our heads or by our hearts?”The premise of the story follows an intricate love triangle that stems from the relationship of wealthy Newland Archer, his fiancée May Welland, and her cousin, Ellen Olenska. It is set in 1870s in the hustling and bustling city of New York.
