ISPL: Surat to play host to Season 3; MVP to get brand-new Porsche 911 car

The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) is set to return for its third season from January 9 to February 6, 2026, in Surat. The tennis-ball T10 tournament will now feature eight teams, with two new franchises from Ahmedabad and New Delhi joining the roster. The league has grown significantly, offering a Porsche 911 to the Most Valuable Player and increasing team purses by 50% to ₹1.5 crore.The expansion was announced at a press conference attended by ISPL’s Core Committee members, including cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, alongside new team owner and Bollywood star Ajay Devgn. It was also announced that player trials will begin on October 5th, across 101 cities, with over 4.3 million registrations already recorded.

The league’s success story continues to grow since its 2024 debut. It has produced several national stars like Abhishek Dalhor, Sagar Ali, and Rajat Mundhe. The tournament structure now requires each team to have 18 players, including two under-19 players, creating more opportunities for young talent.“ISPL has evolved beyond being just a league; it has become a movement that is changing the way we identify and nurture cricketing talent in India,” said Shri Sachin Tendulkar, highlighting the league’s impact on grassroots cricket.The star power in ISPL continues to shine with its impressive lineup of team owners. Bollywood icons Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn join existing owners including Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Suriya, Hrithik Roshan, and Ram Charan.

The league also unveiled its official documentary ‘Rise of ISPL’ and announced a new Zonal Institution model for Season 4. This initiative aims to create a structured scouting system to discover talent from every corner of India.League Commissioner Suraj Samat compared the Porsche 911 MVP award to Ravi Shastri’s historic Audi win in 1985, stating, “This is about inspiring players to dream big and push their limits. We want every youngster watching or playing in ISPL to believe that world-class rewards are within their reach.”
