Air India crash: Supreme Court questions preliminary report suggesting pilot error; calls it 'unfortunate'

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court of India on Monday issued notice to Centre, directorate general of civil aviation (DGCA) and Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau seeking an independent, fair and expeditious probe into June 12 Air India crash. It said a sentence from the AAIB preliminary probe report blaming pilot error for the crash was unfortunate.
