‘Saiyaara’, which hit cinemas on July 18, has been winning hearts and performing well at the box office for the past two weeks. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film had a strong run but has now started to slow down in its third week. This dip in performance is mainly due to the rise of ‘Mahavtar Narsimha’, which gained momentum last week thanks to positive word of mouth. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, which is day 19, it has made Rs 74 lakhs so far till the afternoon. The total collection of the film so far, according to Sacnilk is Rs 302.99 crore.

Meanwhile, ‘Mahavtar Narsimha’ collected Rs 7.35 crore on Monday which is huge. On Tuesday, the film has collected Rs 1.38 crore till afternoon. The total collection now stands at Rs 99.68 crore. So, it will cross Rs 100 crore on Tuesday. The newer releases, ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’ and ‘Dhadak 2’ are struggling for their share of attention. While Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri’s ‘Dhadak 2’ has collected Rs 13.2 so far till day 5, the Ajay Devgn starrer has collected Rs 27.63 so far, according to Sacnilk.
