The NBA Hall of Famer and $1.6 billion entrepreneur has showered praise on his wife for staying by his side through thick and thin. The couple tied the knot in 1991 and they have been together since supporting each other. Johnson has a legendary basketball resume to his name but beyond that, he has established a business empire that led him to the elite billionaire athlete club.

The romance was in the air on 14th February as the world celebrated the yearly romantic tradition, Valentine’s Day. NBA legend Magic Johnson was no exception, he recently took to his Instagram to share a heartfelt message for his wife along with a short clip composed of several images of their journey together.
“Through every season of life, you’ve been my greatest blessing. After 40+ years, I’m still in awe of you and thank God everyday that I get to call you mine. To my love Cookie, Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️” Johnson wrote in the caption.
Cookie also showered her love for her husband, “After all these years, you are still the one who makes my heart smile! My forever Valentine, my greatest gift from God, and my love for a lifetime. I love you, Earvin! 🥰❤️,” the 66-year-old wrote on her Instagram. Johnson responded, “My forever valentine. I love you!”
Johnson has been candid about his romance with his wife and does not hesitate to share their moments on social media. Just two weeks prior to the latest post, he shared their outing as they went to watch their alma mater MSU play today against USC. “Cookie and I went to watch our alma mater MSU play today against USC! Even though we came up short, it was nice to see them live here in LA. And look who we ran into at the game – USC’s Head Football Coach Lincoln Riley!” the 65-year-old wrote sharing a photograph with his wife.
Cookie celebrated her birthday on January 20. Her devout romantic partner Johnson did not take long to shower her with a heartfelt post. “Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife Cookie, my best friend, the mother of our children,” he shared on Instagram with a montage of the duo spending time together.
“And the partner who makes every dream possible. Over 40 years together, and every day I am more grateful for the incredible blessing you are in my life. Your love, strength, and wisdom light up our home and our world. Thank you for being the heart of our family and the foundation of our journey together. You are more than I could ever ask for,” Johnson added.
In the post, he also shared Proverbs 31:11-12, “Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.”
Johnson continued, “Here’s to many more years of growing together and you making the world a better place just by being in it. I love you more than words could ever express!”

Cookie immediately responded to her husband’s romantic gesture, “I love you endlessly Earvin 🥰💛,” she commented.
The duo has certainly claimed the spot among the NBA power couple. They share two children together— EJ Johnson (32), and Elisa Johnson (31).
