HYDERABAD: Justice Anugu Santhosh Reddy has been appointed as the new chairman of the Telangana Real Estate Appellate Tribunal. He officially assumed charge on Monday and presided over the tribunal’s court proceedings, joined by its members. A native of Joganpalli village in Jagtial district, Justice Santhosh Reddy brings with him a distinguished legal and judicial career spanning nearly four decades. The son of former MLA late Anugu Narayana Reddy, he began his legal practice in Karimnagar in 1985 and entered judicial service in 1991. Over the years, he held several key positions, including senior civil judge, district judge, and law secretary for both Andhra Pradesh and, post-bifurcation, Telangana.In 2018, he was appointed member-secretary of Telangana state legal services authority, and in 2019, reappointed as law secretary. He was elevated to the Telangana HC in March 2022 and served until his retirement in June 2023.tnn
