She reflected on how her mother’s tireless efforts in raising her and her brother often went unacknowledged, while her father received praise for minimal involvement, like simply attending parent-teacher meetings.In an interview with The Quint, Apoorva shared that her mother faced constant underappreciation and struggled with low self-worth, despite doing everything for the family. She recalled how even small gestures from her father—like attending parent-teacher meetings—were met with praise, while her mother’s everyday sacrifices went largely unnoticed.She further highlighted how it was her mother who managed everything behind the scenes—feeding the kids, helping with studies, handling school runs, and attending every PTM without fail.
