The heart makes mistakes, the mind corrects them.”She stressed the value of having elders in the home: “Children raised by grandparents are more secure and grounded. Parents today are career-driven — they give quality time, but someone needs to be around for the child’s comfort.”She added, “It’s the cycle of life. If we do good, we get to be part of our grandchildren’s lives. I’m just very glad they let me in.”
