Parmeet Sethi calls YouTube is his second career; says sons Aryamann and Ayushmaan are eager to make their on-screen debut | Hindi Movie News

Archana Puran Singh, her husband Parmeet Sethi, and their sons Aryamann and Ayushmaan have become quite popular on YouTube through their fun family vlogs. The family recently shared videos from their holiday in Switzerland. In an interview, Parmeet spoke about the trip, why they made their kids fly economy class, and how their online fame is steadily growing.Teaching Their Kids HumilityIn one of their vlogs, Archana and Parmeet’s sons revealed that their parents didn’t let them fly business class, instead telling them they would have to earn that luxury themselves. When asked about this in an interview with Screen, Parmeet said, “We have always tried to keep our children grounded—as normal as possible—and keep them away from the trappings of being part of a filmy family. Jitna normal ho sake, itna rakhne ki koshish ki hai humne. We have more or less succeeded.”Parmeet explained that they’ve always taught their sons not to expect special treatment just because they come from a film background. He said they’ve encouraged their kids to earn both their livelihood and respect independently. According to him, this mindset was instilled in them from a young age, and they’ve embraced it. He added that when the boys finally flew business class using their own money, the joy they felt was far greater than if their parents had simply gifted them the tickets.Ready to Enter ShowbizParmeet shared that both of their sons are now preparing to follow in their parents’ footsteps and enter the entertainment industry. Aryamann is pursuing music but also has aspirations to act, while Ayushmaan is fully focused on becoming an actor and is actively auditioning for lead roles in films and web series. According to Parmeet, both have been auditioning regularly and have spent the past two to three years training under Atul Mongia. He mentioned that they are now eager to make their on-screen debut.YouTube Feels Like a Second CareerWith over 700,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel, Parmeet said that their digital success feels like an unexpected second phase of his career. The family initially expected only 20,000 to 25,000 views, but their videos ended up reaching millions—something they’re truly grateful for. Now, Archana, Parmeet, and their sons are taking the platform more seriously, treating it as a strong and promising backup plan.More Rewarding Than ActingParmeet also admitted that their YouTube journey has, in many ways, turned out to be more rewarding than his acting career. He explained that they launched the channel because they believe digital content is the future and wanted to be part of the evolving entertainment landscape.“It’s coming straight to your phone screen. My sons were recognised on the streets of Switzerland. More than us, they were being stopped for selfies. They’re the new kids on the block—people wanted to talk to them. It makes my heart so happy,” Parmeet shared.
