Kaveri Kapur, daughter of Shekhar Kapur and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, debuts in Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story alongside Vardhaan Puri. The trailer previews Kunal Kohli’s romantic drama set in Cambridge. Before its OTT release, a special Mumbai screening featured Bollywood stars, including Mr. India actor Anil Kapoor.
Kaveri and Vardhaan welcomed guests at the screening, joined by Kaveri’s parents. Despite their past differences, Shekhar Kapur and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi fully supported their daughter. Videos show Kaveri hugging them and posing for pictures. In a rare moment, the former couple also posed together for the media.

Suchitra Krishnamoorthi has openly spoken about her ex-husband, alleging he cheated during their marriage. Despite their bitter divorce, they co-parent their daughter. In an interview, Suchitra admitted that their issues had a deep impact on Kaveri.
In an interview with Bollywood Thikana, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi shared that most reports about her and Shekhar Kapur come from an outsider’s view. She emphasized that they will always be parents to Kaveri and praised Shekhar as a devoted father, noting that their daughter is closer to him than to her.
Shekhar Kapur and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi married in 1999 and had their daughter, Kaveri. They separated in 2017. Suchitra is known for her role in the 1994 film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa with Shah Rukh Khan. After a long break, she returned to acting with OTT projects like Odd Couple and Guilty Minds.
Kaveri Kapur stars opposite Vardhaan Puri, grandson of the late Amrish Puri, in Kunal Kohli’s film. It premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on February 11.
