Peace missing at home? Check your temple Vastu Shastra

If peace and happiness are missing at home, check the condition of your home temple
Many people worship daily at their home temples, yet their lives remain full of troubles. Issues such as theft in the house, serious illness of a family member, frequent loss of valuable items, or constant disputes among family members could be linked to the condition of the home temple or the idols kept there.
According to Celebrity Astrologer Parduman Suri, no deity ever wishes harm upon their devotees. However, devotees may unknowingly invite trouble upon themselves. For instance, many people begin worshipping at home without understanding the correct rituals and methods.
Before performing daily worship, the temple area should be purified with clean water. The idols must then be bathed with either Panchamrit (a mixture of milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar) or pure water. After this, offer flowers, sandalwood paste, rice (akshat), and clothing to the deities.
The home temple should not be placed directly on the floor; it must be set on a wooden platform. Broken or damaged idols or pictures should not be kept in the temple. Also, ensure there is no toilet or bathroom above or adjacent to the temple area.
Ideally, the home temple should be located in the northeast direction (Ishaan Kon), which is considered the direction of the gods and a source of positive energy.
The idols or images in the temple should be arranged so that the devotee faces either east or north while worshipping. If placing the idols in the northeast isn’t possible, east is the next best option. The worship area must be kept clean at all times.
Too many idols can cause energy clashes
Repeated unintentional mistakes in the home temple can lead to negative energy. It is advised not to place multiple idols of different gods and goddesses in the temple, as their energies may clash.
Keeping an idol or image of Lord Shani (Saturn) in the home is considered inauspicious, as it is believed that his gaze may bring sudden misfortune. Hence, it is advised not to keep an image or idol of Shani Dev in the prayer room.
