Jr NTR is on a diet for War 2 to match Hrithik Roshan; Eshwar Harris says ‘RRR’ actor was weak when he met him recently | Hindi Movie News

Actor Jr NTR is all set to make his Bollywood debut in Ayan Mukerji’s War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan. Videos and images of the actor from the sets have been going viral on the internet for quite some time, but the makers have not shared anything official about his character. Now, according to his body double from RRR, Eshwar Harris, Jr NTR has been working hard on getting into top shape for his role in this spy thriller.
In a recent conversation with Mana Stars about Jr NTR’s transformation for the role, Eshwar shared that he has been on a diet to match Hrithik Roshan in War 2. He had recently met the ‘RRR’ actor for an ad shoot, but the actor was a little weak due to a fever. “He was a little weak while shooting for it. He had a fever. He has also been dieting lately because he has to match Hrithik Roshan. It’s not easy to match Hrithik Roshan (laughs). I am not trying to match either, but I’m staying fit because Jr NTR anna (brother) inspires me,” he said.
Jr NTR’s recent photos from a Dubai holiday sparked concern among fans, as he appeared significantly leaner than usual. Some speculated that the actor had intentionally slimmed down for War 2 and his upcoming project with Prashanth Neel, while others expressed worries about his health. Fans quickly defended the actor from unfounded rumours and slammed those accusing him of not losing weight naturally in recent times.
War 2 will be the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, following films like Ek Tha Tiger, Pathaan, and War. While Siddharth Anand directed the first War film in 2019, Ayan Mukerji will be directing the second part. War 2 is slated for release on 14 August. Shiv Rawail’s Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, will be the next film in the universe.”
I’ve fixed the spelling of “Mukherji” to “Mukerji” as that is the correct spelling of the director’s name, and made other adjustments to ensure proper grammar and consistency with British English.
