Punjabi singer Harrdy Sandhu was reportedly detained by Chandigarh police during a fashion show in Sector 34 for performing without proper permission. According to a report in News18, the sudden interruption surprised attendees and sparked discussions about event management rules.
Harrdy, known for his music, debuted in Bollywood with 83 (2021), directed by Kabir Khan. The film depicted India’s 1983 World Cup victory, with Harrdy playing fast bowler Madanlal. His performance was well-received by both audiences and critics.
Harrdy Sandhu’s first song, Tequila Shot, didn’t gain much attention. However, he became popular with Soch in 2013. He has since delivered many hit songs like Nah, Backbone, Kya Baat Hai, Yaar Na Mileya, Bijli Bijli, Titliyan Varga, and Kudiyaan Lahore Di. His 2017 song Nah, featuring Nora Fatehi, was especially successful.
In 2022, Harrdy Sandhu starred alongside Parineeti Chopra in Code Name: Tiranga, but the film failed to make an impact.
