Chaiti unveils poster of Raktakarabi with literary icons and music maestro | Bengali Movie News
Actor Chaiti Ghoshal inaugurated the poster of her first directorial theatre production Raktakarabi at the press club, Kolkata. The event was graced by esteemed author Abul Bashar, who attended as the honorary chief guest, alongside distinguished writer Prachet Gupta and iconic music composer Debojyoti Mishra.
Expressing her passion for the timeless classic, Chaiti shared, “I take the pledge to bring Raktakarabi to the stage over and over again. The music, beautifully composed by Debojyoti Mishra, adds soul to the production. I feel honoured to have literary stalwarts like Abul Bashar and Prachet Gupta discuss the play and its profound content at the poster inauguration.”
Chaiti also praised the stellar performance of Debesh Ray Chowdhury, who portrays the role of Raja in the play. “Debesh Ray Chowdhury’s nuanced portrayal of Raja is an inspiring element that elevates our theatre production,” she remarked, emphasizing how his performance brings depth to Tagore’s classic.
