Unelected can't wield undue powers: BNP

DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has expressed concerns that implementing some of the recommendations from the reform commissions could undermine future govts and grant undue power to unelected individuals, potentially controlling key state affairs.
BNP, which is set to submit its feedback on the reform commission’s recommendations to the National Consensus Commission on Sunday, raised concerns over the involvement of certain advisers from the interim govt in the formation of a political party, reportedly the National Citizen Party, which has created confusion among the people.
