Timmy Trumpet’s Holi tour: “It’s hard to match the enthusiasm of the Indian crowd” – Exclusive |

The Australian DJ and record producer Timmy Trumpet is in India for his four-city Holi tour. The artist has plans to perform in Delhi (afternoon) and Pune (sundowner) on the day of Holi, March 14, and then he will be headed for his shows in Kolkata and Chennai on March 15 and 16, respectively.
As this is his first tour to India, Timmy Trumpet is super excited. While speaking to us exclusively, he mentioned, “feeling amazing!”
Timmy Trumpet continued, “This is my first national tour of the year, and kicking things off in India is just unreal. I love playing here—it’s a country I’ve always wanted to spend more time in. I can’t wait to touch down and let the madness begin!”
Holi is a festival of colours, joy, and music; thus, we asked the Australian artist how he feels to be part of such a vibrant celebration? We also quizzed him about any surprises he packed for his Indian audience. “There’s one project I have been working on that I can’t share details about just yet, but trust me, this moment has been years in the making. What makes it even more special is that I get to create it with the amazing people of India. I really wish I could tell you more, but for now, I have gotta keep this one under wraps,” replied Timmy maintaining the thrilling suspense.
Timmy Trumpet has played at some of the world’s biggest festivals and now he is finally in India, so we asked him to weigh in on how the Indian audience is in terms of energy and enthusiasm.
“Honestly, I think it’s hard to match the enthusiasm of the Indian crowd. Being Australian, I’m a huge cricket fan, and just watching Indian Premier League games on TV shows how much passion and energy the people of India have for sports and entertainment,” the artist shared.
“Every time I’ve played there, it feels like that same electric energy fills the arena—it’s just next level. I don’t think anywhere else on earth compares,” he concluded.
