Businessman on ED radar; Ranya Rao’s Benngaluru flat raided | Bengaluru News
BENGALURU: A Bengaluru-based businessman heading a gold-buying firm that operates in Karnataka and Kerala has come under the scanner in the gold-smuggling racket.
ED sleuths, who have also started a probe after registering a case in Delhi, raided the gold-buyer’s premises on Thursday and seized documents. Sources said the businessman is related to a realtor, who has links with film stars and politicians.
The ED also searched Ranya’s flat on Lavelle Road, Koramangala, Indiranagar and five other places across the city from 9am to 9.30pm.
