Although the director faces less online attacks, he revealed in a recent press meeting on how he deals with such issues.During ‘Valathu Vashathe Kallan’ press meet, Jeethu Joseph said he does not care at all about personal insults that come from fake IDs on social media. He also said that he is ready to accept only honest opinions and honest criticism.
Jeethu Joseph explains his experience with social media
As reported by Manorama Online, Jeethu said, “I don’t know much about social media. I am not active there, I only check it once in a while. Recently, when negative comments came against me, I looked at them. The young team members who work with me showed them to me. They also made me understand that all these comments were from fake IDs.” He also said that it is not something that happens only to him.‘Ram’ director said many filmmakers and politicians also face the same problem. According to him, there are people who hide behind fake accounts and attack one person using many IDs.
He says fake attacks try to paint people in a bad way
Jeethu spoke more and said, “They try to show us as bad people and say things we have never even thought of. All this creates a lot of stress in the human mind through social media.” He explained that people make stories and say things that are not true at all. Jeethu said this can cause a big stress to many people, especially those who read too much into online comments.

Jeethu also said something that felt very simple but very wise. He said, “There will always be challenges in life. There will be people who throw stones at us. There will be people who oppose us. But there will also be people who support us. I come from a farmer family. I have grown up seeing everything in life. So I see all this as part of the journey. I don’t take these things as a problem. At the same time, I always take honest opinions and criticism in a way that helps us. Everything else, I just ignore.”
