The 2026 Grammy Awards delivered a night of record-breaking wins, political statements and historic firsts. The night which had some of the biggest performers take the stage and belt out their hit tracks, saw Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny and Billie Eilish emerging as the evening’s biggest winners.Kendrick Lamar cemented his place in Grammy history, becoming the most-awarded rapper of all time. The rapper took home four trophies on the night – Best Rap Song, Best Melodic Rap Performance, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Album, thus pushing his career Grammy a total to 26 wins, beating previous record-holder Jay-Z.Accepting his award, Lamar said, “It’s an honour to be here. Hip-hop is always going to be right here… We’re gonna be having the culture with us.” Lamar entered the night with nine nominations. He also shared one of the night’s top prizes with longtime collaborator SZA, as their track “Luther” won Record of the Year. During her acceptance speech, SZA won hearts with her message saying, “Please don’t fall into despair. I know that right now is a scary time… the algorithms tell us that it’s so scary and all is lost.”Bad Bunny made Grammys history by winning Album of the Year for “Debí Tirar Más Fotos,” becoming the first all-Spanish-language album to take home the ceremony’s top honour. It marked only the second time a fully Spanish album had been nominated in the category. Harry Styles, who won Album of the Year that year, presented the award and was seen embracing an emotional Bad Bunny onstage.Billie Eilish won Song of the Year for “Wildflower,” beating out K-Pop hits”APT” and “Golden”.
