Blake Lively’s voice memo made public
According to reports shared by People, Lively had sent a voice note to Justin Baldoni, talking about her nervousness about her comeback project. In the memo, she can be heard saying, “I’m talking to you as a friend at this point more than anything. The only reason that I’m doing [that movie] before is because I gave them my word, and I wouldn’t go back on that. But having a week off in between, it’s just a lot.”She further talked about the burden and hectic work schedule as she had already been filming for another project. She felt that it was too overwhelming to be back at work when she did not even have a baby nurse at the time. “Shooting in April, shooting in March is just too soon after having a baby and not sleeping and wanting to be in my best shape,” she continued. The audio message was sent on February 8, 2023.

About Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s case
The voice memo is part of a long list of text messages and emails that have been submitted in court related to the co-stars’ case. In December 2024, Blake Lively had sued Baldoni and had alleged that he had sexually harassed her and had attempted to run a smear campaign against her. The actor-director had filed a countersuit, which was later dropped. He, however, has denied all allegations that have been made against him. Their trial is set for May 2026. The ‘The Age of Adaline’ actress is seeking more than USD 160 million in damages.
