Back in December 2004, while shooting his first-ever scene for the TV show ‘Kahaan Hoon Main,’ Vikrant faced a shocking reality check. Just 20 minutes into the shoot, the director yelled at him harshly over the mic in front of the entire crew, around 100 people. “No one had ever spoken to me like that before. I felt so humiliated,” Vikrant recalled in his Cosmopolitan India interview.He broke down crying right there and seriously considered quitting acting on the spot.

Thankfully, a supervising producer stepped in as a lifeline. She pulled him aside, offered kind words, and said, “Welcome to this world.” She gently pushed him back to the set.
