Well, Karan Johar’s reaction has come after ‘Border 2’ made massive numbers at the box office in its first three days since the release. The movie crossed Rs 120 crore on its first Sunday. According to the Sacnilk report, the movie opened to Rs 30 crore, and on the second day, it raked in Rs 36.5 crore, while Day 3 witnessed a massive growth, resulting in an Rs 54.5 crore collection.

Directed by Anurag Singh, the war drama features Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, and Varun Dhawan in the lead roles. It also stars Medha Rana, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, and Anya Singh in pivotal roles. Set in the 1971 India-Pakistan War, the film was released on January 23, 2026, and is currently banking on the Republic Day holiday to score more at the box office.On the other hand, Ranveer Singh‘s ‘Dhurandhar’ was released on December 5, 2025, and was running in theaters for over a month. It raked in more than Rs 800 crore in India, and the worldwide collection has crossed Rs 1280 crore. Part 2 of the movie is slated to arrive in theaters on March 19, 2026.
