‘Mardaani 3’, penned by Aayush Gupta (known from The Railway Men), is directed by Abhiraj Minawala. Rani Mukerji reprises her iconic role as Shivani Shivaji Roy in a production backed by Aditya Chopra. The film explores another grim societal issue, building on the franchise’s past focus on human trafficking and serial rapists, with a global theatrical release set for January 30.
