‘13 Going on 30’ actress Jennifer Garner recently opened up about her divorce from Ben Affleck. The actress reflected on how hard the split was for her and what all happened at the time.

While speaking to Marie Claire UK about her latest endeavors, Garner also delved into the past. She recalled the hardships she went through after she and Affleck split in 2015. She revealed that she had a tough time dealing with the changes.
She further shared that it was the thought that a family breaking apart was the hardest for her to deal with. She also shared that, “You have to be smart about what you can and can’t handle, and I could not handle what was out there. But what was out there was not what was hard. The fact of it is what was hard. The actual breaking up of a family is what was hard. Losing a true partnership and friendship is what was hard.”She further added that one of the things that helped her deal with the situation was her relationships and the community around her. She said that she made a lot of effort to stay connected with people and reach out to spend time with them. This became one of the reasons why she was able to deal with the publicized split. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were married for 10 years until their official split in 2015. After three years of settlements and court cases, the two reached a finalized term, and were fully divorced three years later.

Jennifer Garner last appeared as the narrator in the documentary film ‘The Battle for Brandon.’ Beyond that, the actress has been focusing on her TV projects. She currently stars as Hannah Hall in the show ‘The Last Thing He Told Me.’ Her next project is titled ‘The Five-Star Weekend’, in which she will star in the main role as Hollie Shaw.Other than Garner, the upcoming series also stars Chloe Sevigny and Regina Hall. The story follows a food blogger from Nantucket who tries to cope with the loss in her life by spending a ‘five-star’ weekend with her friends.
