AJSU-party leaders in Ranchi on Thursday
Ranchi: The youth wing of Ajsu-P will start a door-to-door membership drive in Ranchi city from Monday to strengthen its organisation at the grassroot level. The campaign, its leaders hoped, would help the party in the upcoming urban local body (ULB) polls. Similar membership drives are being planned in other parts of the state.Amit Yadav, the town president of the party’s youth wing, said, “Senior party leaders including chief spokesperson Devsharan Bhagat will launch the programme from the Ranchi University gate. The campaign would cover all 53 wards under Ranchi Municipal Corporation. We hope to enrol 1 lakh new members in 90 days.”Yadav said party leaders will meet people through public contact programmes and listen to their grievances.
