Upendra’s film ’45’ is slowly losing its grip in theatres. The film is now seeing a steady drop in daily collections after a decent start.’45’ earned around Rs 12.3 crores India net in the first 5 days. On day 6, the film collected only Rs 60 lakhs and this takes the total to Rs 12.90 crores. The trend clearly shows that the film is fading little by little.
Day-wise numbers show steady fall
According to the Sacnilk website, on day 4, the film earned around Rs 2 crores. Collections fell sharply the very next day. Day 5 brought in only Rs 85 lakhs which is a drop of more than half. Day 6 did not improve with collections going down further to Rs 60 lakhs.
Low occupancy across shows
’45’ recorded an overall 13.27% Kannada occupancy on the last day. Morning shows were very weak at 7.88%. Afternoon shows picked up slightly at 15.14%. Evening shows stayed almost the same at 15.19%, while night shows were 14.88%. Even with decent evening and night numbers, the overall turnout remains low.
