He emphasized the emotions in the film, noting that each character and their performances lingered with him even after the film. For him, this lingering feeling is what distinguishes “Sirai” as a significant and strong film that resonates with the viewers.

Speaking about the performances, Shankar praised Vikram Prabhu in particular, describing him as impressive and the heart of the film. Shankar also referred to Akshay and Anishma Anilkumar, who are both debutants, and remarked that they did a good job portraying the innocence and shades of their roles.
