Jamshedpur: A miscreant was arrested from Parvati crematorium by Jugsalai police on Sunday on charges of decamping with gemstones from a shop a day before. Gemstones worth Rs 2.50 lakh were recovered from his possession, police said.DSP (Law and Order) Tauqir Alam said, “Accused Arbaz Khan (20) had sneaked into the gemstone shop in the absence of the shopkeeper on Saturday and fled with the box. The box contained 443 pieces of precious stones. The accused was identified and arrested based on the footage captured by CCTV cameras installed in the shop.”A resident of Panchi in Jugsalai, Arbaz was forwarded to jail on Sunday. He was earlier jailed for similar cases, police added.
