Charles Philip Arthur George began schooling at Hill House School in West London and went on to become a boarder at Cheam School. He attended Cambridge University in 1967 to read archaeology and anthropology at Trinity College. He was invested as Prince of Wales in 1969 and subsequently joined the Royal Air Force in Lincolnshire to train as a jet pilot. In 1971 he embarked on a naval career, following in the footsteps of his father, attending the Royal Naval College in Dartmouth.

On July 29, 1981, the Prince of Wales married Lady Diana Spencer at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Later, they welcomed two sons, Prince William in 1982 and Prince Harry in 1984.The couple went on to dissolve their marriage in 1996, with Princess Diana being killed in a car crash in 1997. In 2005, the prince married Camilla Parker Bowles, who is now his Queen consort.
