Story and cast overview
‘Rockstar’ revolves around Janardhan Jhakar, also known as Jordan, portrayed by Ranbir. The film charts his evolution from a hopeful singer to a renowned rock star. This change is fueled by his heartbreak over Heer, which acts as the driving force behind his musical path. The story poignantly explores how deep personal pain can inspire creative success. Alongside Ranbir and Nargis, the movie features performances by Aditi Rao Hydari, Piyush Mishra, Shernaz Patel, Kumud Mishra, and Sanjana Sanghi. It also includes the late Shammi Kapoor in a posthumous role, following his death on August 14, 2011.
