UP accident: 2 Nepali national killed, 9 injured as car rams into truck | Meerut News
MUZAFFARNAGAR: A tragic accident on the Karnal-Meerut highway in Muzaffarnagar on Thursday claimed the lives of two Nepali nationals and left nine others seriously injured when their car collided with a truck. Among the deceased were a 30-year-old man and a 3-year-old child.The incident occurred while 11 Nepali citizens were traveling to Chandigarh in a car. Police immediately responded to the scene and initiated rescue operations.“The accident took place when the 11 travellers — all Nepali citizens — were on their way to Chandigarh in a car,” said Phugana SHO Vijay Kumar.The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where Gopal, aged 30, and Anmol, aged 3, were pronounced dead. The car sustained severe damage in the collision, according to the SHO.
