Director Mari Selvaraj‘s ‘Bison Kaalamaadan’, starring Dhruv Vikram in the lead role, has had a great run at the box office. The film, however, had a dip in its form gradually in the second week. The sports drama, which opened to positive reviews and strong word of mouth, has now amassed Rs 41.29 crore at the box office in 15 days.As per trade analyst Sacnilk, while ‘Bison’ started strong during its opening week, raking in Rs 27.25 crore, the collections then slowed down as it entered the second week. The film, which consistently earned over Rs 1 crore per day in its early days, saw its daily collection dip below the crore mark by Day 14, managing just above Rs 90 lakh. On Day 15 (Friday), the movie collected around Rs 60 lakh.

On Friday, October 31, ‘Bison’ recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of 20.31 percent. The morning shows saw an occupancy of 12.96 percent, which increased to 20.68 percent in the afternoon. Evening shows had 15.80 percent, while the night shows performed better at 31.78 percent.
