NEW DELHI: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav commented on Delhi assembly election trends on Saturday in Indore, as the Election Commission’s trends indicated BJP ahead in 48 of Delhi’s 70 assembly seats, with AAP leading in 22 seats.
Yadav called for opposition parties to reflect on their repeated electoral defeats while speaking to reporters in Indore.

He pointed to BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public connection, their dedication, and the nation’s changing sentiment as moving in one direction.
“Elements who are part of the tukde-tukde gang, have narrow mindset and have misled the states and country for years are continuously facing defeats…We have witnessed everyone (opposition parties) coming together using dirty tricks, and Congress fought the last battle. Everyone came together by telling lies and have scattered like straws,” said Yadav, criticizing the INDIA bloc.
The BJP uses the term ‘tukde-tukde’ to describe groups allegedly supporting sedition and secessionism.
Yadav noted that the results of Haryana, Maharashtra, and Delhi polls aligned with the direction of the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
He stated that opposition parties spread sophistries across the country to mislead people, suggesting these electoral outcomes should prompt introspection among such elements.
