Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, featuring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, is a box office hit. The film has surpassed expectations, becoming the fifth highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025. Saiyaara has earned more than movies starring Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. Strong word of mouth and Suri’s signature style have fueled its success.

Mohit Suri’s emotionally charged romantic drama Saiyaara, starring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has turned out to be a box office sensation. Despite its fresh-faced cast, the film has hit it out of the park, becoming the fifth highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025 so far. THe film has achieved the spot by beating films led by superstars like Salman Khan’s Sikandar (Rs 110.36 crore) and Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force (Rs 113.62 crore), both of which featured massive star power and significantly higher production budgets.

Released last Friday, Saiyaara opened to a strong Rs 21.5 crore, defying expectations for a film fronted by newcomers. Positive word of mouth and Suri’s signature blend of soul-stirring music and intense romance helped the film grow steadily through the weekend. Saturday witnessed a 20.93% jump with Rs 26 crore, followed by a spectacular Sunday haul of Rs 35.75 crore — the biggest single-day collection for any film with debutants this year.Even after the weekend high, Saiyaara held firm on Monday with Rs 24 crore, a minimal dip of 32.87% — considered excellent for a working weekday. By 3 PM on Tuesday (Day 5), the film had already added Rs 8.07 crore more to its tally, bringing the total to Rs 115.32 crore. And by the end of fifth day the film is expected to add another Rs 8 to Rs 10 crore to the kitty. And with the postponement of Son Of Sardaar 2 led by Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur – the film is expected to breach 4th position held by Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zaman Par ( Rs 165.57 crore) with ease during the weekend. Experts are hailing the film’s success as a refreshing shift in an industry often dominated by formula-driven blockbusters. Saiyaara has not only captured the hearts of audiences but also signaled that compelling storytelling and relatable emotions can still be major draws at the box office, regardless of star value.
